Welcome to &Beyond Sossusvlei Desert Lodge, a canvas of beauty that invites reconnection with yourself and nature. Set amidst an ocean of dunes, rocky outcrops and gravel plains, the utter tranquility and extraordinary clarity of light makes this area one of Africa’s most compelling landscapes. This lodge is situated within &BEYOND Sossusvlei Private Desert Reserve, a vast 12,715 hectare (31,419 acre) expanse deep in the Namib, the world’s oldest living desert. It’s an architectural marvel seamlessly blends with its majestic surroundings, boasting lavish interiors, awe-inspiring views, and unrivaled privacy.

Your entry point to Kenya will most likely be Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Flights to Jomo Kenyatta are available from various international airlines operating from hubs worldwide and via the national carrier Kenya Airways.  The Masaai Mara where this lodge is located is a 6 hour drive or 45-minute flight from the capital Nairobi. Opulence Oasis offers scenic drives via our chauffeured services for those who appreciate the beauty of Kenya’s landscape. For swift and convenient transportation, we offer flights from Jomo Kenyatta and Wilson Airport via reputable domestic carriers. Guests looking for the ultimate comfort and privacy can book a charter flight straight from Nairobi’s main airport and other airports in Kenya.

Accommodation

Suite

A total of 10 suites, 2 guests max per suite. Each air-conditioned glass-fronted Suite is designed to complement the expansive views of the different habitats, perfectly framed from the spacious internal areas. Each Suite features a private veranda, bedroom with retractable skylights for in-bed stargazing, a living room with a fireplace, an ensuite bathroom with a glass-encased rain shower offering 180º views, and a perfectly-positioned private plunge pool for some sublime respite after a long day in the desert heat. Room features: 1400 sqft, personal bar, personal coffee station, air conditioning/heating, overhead fans, mosquito net, bose music player, seperate W.C, telephone, hairdyer, internet access, in room suite, triple bed option and twin bed within the same frame. This room does not have an interleading door. For those with accessibility needs this room is not recommended but possible with assistance. Family Suites

An ideal family environment, or the perfect getaway for groups of friends, the Star Dune Suite consists of two Suites linked by a covered walkway, with a private lounge, customized personal bars, and dining space. The combines amenities provide the perfect space for one and all to enjoy. For families, our &Beyond team will provide a host of fun and interactive children’s activities . Room features: 2875 sqft, private veranda, private plunge pool, personal bar, personal coffee station, air conditioning/heating, overhead fans, mosquito net, bose music player, seperate W.C, telephone, hairdyer, internet access, in room suite, triple bed option, twin bed within the same frame and double bed option. This room does not have an interleading door. For those with accessibility needs this room is not recommended but possible with assistance.
